Portfolio Pathway support that delivers.

Our structured Portfolio Pathway (formally CESR) helps Specialty Doctors achieve GMC Specialist Registration. We offer MRCPsych preparation, dedicated mentorship, protected study time, and a digital portfolio system. Many of our current Consultants began on this route and now support others through the same journey, proving our process works and that Consultant status is genuinely within reach at Cygnet.

Take your career further by engaging in research, audits, and teaching. You can publish in The Cygnet Journal, contribute to the Cygnet R&D Group, and lead sessions on our internal MRCPsych and CESR programmes. Whether you’re preparing for exams or expanding your leadership skills, we give you the time and tools to grow at every stage of your career.

Freedom to do it right.

At Cygnet, you’re trusted to use your clinical judgment. We give our psychiatrists the space and autonomy to deliver high-quality care in a way that works best for them and their patients, without the bureaucracy or micromanagement. You’ll be supported, but never stifled.
